We are looking for enthusiastic Junior Journalists to join our Eastern Eye and India Weekly Digital teams. The ideal candidates will have a passion for digital journalism, strong writing skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. This is an office-based role, allowing close monitoring, collaboration, and hands-on training to help them grow and excel in their careers.
Key Responsibilities:
Research, write, and publish high-quality articles for EE and IW Digital platforms.
Assist in developing engaging and audience-focused digital content.
Collaborate with editors and senior journalists to ensure accurate and compelling stories.
Stay updated on industry trends, current events, and audience preferences.
Conduct interviews, gather information, and fact-check sources for content development.
Support the team in meeting publication deadlines.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, English, or a related field.
0-2 years of experience in digital journalism or content creation (freshers are welcome).
Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail.
Familiarity with digital platforms, SEO, and social media trends.
Proficiency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and take constructive feedback.
Eagerness to learn and adapt to the demands of digital journalism.
