Responsibilities for Accounts Clerk
- Financial transactions: Posting financial transactions, recording cash, checks, and vouchers, and processing invoices
- Financial reports: Preparing financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements, and checking for accuracy
- Reconciling: Reconciling accounts and reporting discrepancies
- Clerical duties: Answering phones, organizing mail, and ordering office supplies
- Teamwork: Working well in teams and understanding the importance of each role in the office
- Bookkeeping: Maintaining accounting records, including spreadsheets, and keeping up with other bookkeeping responsibilities
- Payroll: Being responsible for payroll
- Vendor accounts: Maintaining vendor accounts and processing procurement requests
Requirements
- Ability to clearly communicate, expressing requirements and expectations to a wide range of individuals
- Excellent written communication skills, especially in the English language
- Analytical skills to monitor progress of an undertaking and identify areas needing adjustment or improvement
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills essential
- Willingness to manage multiple tasks at once and adhere to guidelines, budgets, and deadlines
- Basic computer skills, especially email, spreadsheets
- Cooperative and communicative attitude
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹18,870.78 per month
