- Machine Operation:Setting up and operating plastic molding machines (injection, compression, etc.) to produce parts according to specifications.
- Quality Control:Inspecting molded parts for defects, ensuring they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Process Monitoring:Monitoring machine operation, adjusting settings (temperature, pressure, cycle time), and troubleshooting issues.
- Maintenance:Performing routine maintenance on machines, cleaning, and ensuring proper functioning.
- Material Handling:Handling plastic materials, including mixing, loading hoppers, and preparing materials for molding.
- Safety Compliance:Following safety procedures, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and adhering to safety regulations.
- Documentation:Completing production reports, recording data, and reporting issues to supervisors.
