Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and dedicated ITI Fitter to perform fitting, assembly, installation, and maintenance of mechanical components at our Kaman facility. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in using tools and machines, interpreting technical drawings, and ensuring high standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform fitting, assembling, and installation of mechanical components and systems.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Operate hand tools and fabrication machines (e.g., grinders, drill machines, cutting tools).
- Carry out routine maintenance and repair tasks on mechanical equipment.
- Follow all safety protocols and ensure adherence to quality standards during operations.
- Work collaboratively with the production or maintenance team to achieve daily targets.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the work area.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in mechanical fitting and fabrication techniques.
- Ability to read and understand technical/mechanical drawings.
- Experience in using basic mechanical tools and workshop equipment.
- Knowledge of safety procedures in a factory or production environment.
- Physically fit and willing to work 12-hour shifts.
Preferred Candidate:
- Male candidate with an ITI Fitter certification and 1–2 years of relevant experience.
- Residing in or willing to commute to Kaman.
