IT/CS LECTURER
We are looking for an IT/CS teacher, who will be responsible for instructing students on various aspects of computer technology, including programming languages, software applications, hardware fundamentals, and digital literacy, designing engaging lesson plans, assessing student progress, and maintaining a functional learning environment within a classroom or computer lab, while staying updated with current trends in the IT field to provide relevant education.
Job Description -
· Create and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with educational standards, covering topics like programming basics, web development, data structures, algorithms, operating systems, cybersecurity, and network fundamentals.
· Teach theoretical concepts through lectures, demonstrations, discussions, and hands-on practical exercises using computer labs, ensuring students gain practical skills in coding, problem-solving, and application usage.
· Develop and administer assessments like quizzes, projects, exams, and coding challenges to evaluate student understanding and progress, providing constructive feedback to improve learning.
· Encourage critical thinking and creativity by designing engaging projects that allow students to apply their knowledge to real-world scenarios.
· Maintain and troubleshoot computer equipment in the lab, ensuring proper functionality for student use, and manage software updates.
· Provide additional support to struggling students through tutoring, differentiated instruction, or collaboration with other educators.
· Continuously research and stay informed about emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in computer science to incorporate into the curriculum.
· Work with colleagues to integrate technology across different subjects, participate in professional development opportunities, and collaborate on curriculum development.
Job Requirements –
· Education – B.Sc(IT/CS)/ M.Sc(IT/CS)/ BCA/ MCA
· Experience - Previous experience as an IT/CS Teacher would be preferred.
· Strong understanding of programming languages, computer networks, operating systems, databases, and relevant software applications.
· Effective communication, classroom management skills, ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse learning styles.
· Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills to address student challenges and technical issues.
