About the Role
We are looking for a proactive IT Administrator who can independently manage day-to-day IT operations for a startup. This role is hands-on, covering everything from setting up laptops for employees to ensure network uptime, upgrading systems, managing vendors, and keeping our IT environment secure and reliable.
Key Responsibilities
- Employee Onboarding & Exit Support
- Create and configure email accounts for new joiners.
- Set up laptops and devices with required software.
- Handle exits by collecting machines, deactivating accounts, and securing backups.
- Device & Asset Management
- Manage laptops, mobiles, printers, routers, and other IT assets.
- Upgrade and patch operating systems to keep systems secure and up to date.
- Maintain an updated inventory of devices and ensure their upkeep.
- Network & Internet
- Monitor internet connectivity and resolve speed or downtime issues.
- Coordinate with ISPs/vendors for troubleshooting, upgrades, and service quality.
- Office IT Support
- Set up and maintain audio-video devices for meetings and events.
- Manage biometric devices for attendance tracking.
- Security & Access
- Own and safeguard all admin/system passwords.
- Ensure proper access control and data backup policies are followed.
- Vendor Management
- Coordinate with vendors for procurement of laptops, peripherals, and IT supplies.
- Manage service providers for internet, maintenance, and other IT-related services.
- Negotiate and track AMC/renewals and service agreements.
- General IT Maintenance
- Provide hands-on troubleshooting for hardware/software issues.
- Perform regular preventive maintenance of systems and office IT equipment.
- Support ad-hoc IT/admin tasks as required.
What We’re Looking For
- 5–10 years of experience in IT administration or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of system setup, OS upgrades/patch management, device management, and networking basics.
- Experience with email administration (Google Workspace or Microsoft 365).
- Vendor management and negotiation skills.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.
- Comfortable working in a lean team and handling end-to-end IT responsibilities.
- Good communication skills to coordinate with employees and vendors.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with IT security best practices.
- Prior experience in a startup or mid-sized company environment.
- Understanding of AWS Cloud
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
