Role Overview
We are looking for a Data Analytics Instructor with strong expertise in data analytics, machine learning, and AI systems to join our International teaching team. The candidate must have at least 3 years of recent professional practice (within the last 5 years) in data science or related fields, and the ability to inspire students through applied, industry-relevant teaching.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare lesson plans, schemes of work, and digital learning resources in line with Pearson and Ofqual standards.
Create assignments and assessments that apply data analytics and AI to practical case studies.
Carry out grading, internal verification, and quality assurance in accordance with UK vocational standards.
Mentor students in research, analytics projects, and machine learning applications.
Keep curriculum content aligned with the latest industry trends and technologies.
Requirements
Essential Skills & Tools
Data Analytics: Python (NumPy, Pandas, SciPy, Matplotlib, Seaborn).
Machine Learning & AI: scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras.
Big Data: PySpark, Hadoop basics.
Visualisation: Tableau, Power BI, Jupyter.
Databases: SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL), data warehouse concepts.
Experience & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s desirable).
Minimum 3 years recent industry experience in data analytics, AI, or machine learning.
Prior teaching or mentoring experience is desirable but not essential.
