About the Project

We are now expanding the saga with Issue 2 and beyond. Each issue is ~22 pages, with multiple panels per page, primarily in black & white. We’re looking for an illustrator who can carry forward the established style and help us bring the next chapters of the story to life.
Role & Responsibilities
- Illustrate 22 pages per issue, maintaining consistency with the style established in Issue 1.
- Develop dynamic panels with strong storytelling flow.
- Work closely with the writer/creator to ensure alignment with the narrative vision.
- Meet agreed deadlines while upholding high artistic quality.
Requirements
- Strong portfolio showcasing manga/anime-inspired illustration (black & white line work preferred).
- Ability to adapt to an existing style while adding creative flair.
- Experience with sequential storytelling (comics, manga, or graphic novels).
- Proficiency with digital illustration tools (Clip Studio Paint, Photoshop, or similar).
- Kolkata-based candidates only – this is an on-site role at our Bangur Avenue office.
Nice-to-Have
- Prior experience working on serialized comics or webtoons.
- Interest in Japanese storytelling traditions, samurai/ninja aesthetics, or action-driven narratives.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Bangur Avenue, Kolkata, West Bengal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
