Information and Communication Technology systems during the pre-commissioning and commissioning phases of a project.
Role of ICT Technician in Commissioning:
An ICT Technician may be involved in:
Setting up and configuring hardware (PCs, routers, switches, servers).
Installing and testing network infrastructure (LAN/WAN systems).
Supporting SCADA, DCS, BMS, or other control/monitoring systems.
Ensuring communication systems (voice/data) are operational.
Troubleshooting ICT-related issues during commissioning.
Assisting in integration between operational technology (OT) and IT systems.
