- Perform daily cleaning and disinfection of patient rooms, ICUs, OTs, OPDs, waiting areas, corridors, restrooms, and other hospital areas.
- Properly dispose of biomedical and general waste in compliance with hospital protocols and government regulations.
- Replenish supplies such as hand sanitizers, soap, tissues, and paper towels in all areas.
- Ensure hospital beds and equipment are sanitized and ready for new patient admissions.
- Follow established cleaning schedules and emergency cleaning as required.
- Assist in linen handling—collection, transport, and distribution.
- Report any maintenance issues (e.g., broken fixtures, water leaks) to the housekeeping supervisor.
- Use cleaning agents, tools, and equipment responsibly and safely.
- Maintain proper grooming, hygiene, and wear assigned uniforms at all times.
- Cooperate with nursing and administrative staff to maintain overall patient care standards.
