Housekeeping Supervisor – Roles & Responsibilities1. Supervisory Duties
- Assign daily cleaning tasks and special projects to housekeeping staff.
- Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house for cleanliness and maintenance issues.
- Ensure cleaning standards and procedures are followed consistently.
- Monitor work schedules, attendance, and staff performance.
2. Training & Development
- Train new housekeeping employees on cleaning techniques, equipment use, and safety protocols.
- Provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback.
- Promote teamwork and a positive work environment.
3. Quality & Safety Control
- Implement and enforce health, hygiene, and safety policies.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and internal service standards.
- Report and follow up on maintenance requests promptly.
4. Inventory & Resource Management
- Maintain adequate stock of cleaning supplies and linen.
- Track usage and prevent wastage of materials.
- Coordinate laundry services and equipment upkeep.
5. Guest Service
- Respond to guest requests, complaints, or special requirements quickly and professionally.
- Coordinate with the front office for room readiness.
- Ensure VIP or special-occasion rooms are prepared to required standards.
6. Administrative Tasks
- Prepare daily work reports and inspection checklists.
- Record lost-and-found items accurately.
- Participate in departmental meetings and planning.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
