Job Overview:
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Graphic Design Trainer who can inspire and guide students in mastering industry-standard design tools and concepts. The ideal candidate should have strong command over Adobe Creative Suite and a flair for teaching both theoretical concepts and practical techniques in graphic and motion design.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging classroom and lab sessions in graphic design tools and techniques.
- Teach and mentor students in the following tools and areas:
- Adobe Illustrator
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe InDesign
- Adobe Lightroom
- Basic Video Editing (Premiere Pro or similar)
- Introduction to Motion Graphics (After Effects or similar)
- Guide students through project-based learning and portfolio development.
- Stay updated with design trends and integrate them into the curriculum.
- Provide constructive feedback on student work and support their growth.
- Collaborate with academic coordinators for curriculum planning and improvement.
- Organize design workshops, guest sessions, and showcase events.
Key Skills & Requirements:
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, After Effects).
- Strong design sense and understanding of layout, color theory, and typography.
- Experience in motion graphics and visual storytelling is a plus.
- Prior teaching or mentoring experience is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, or a related field.
