We are seeking a passionate and experienced Graphic Design Faculty member to join our creative academic team. The ideal candidate will have strong practical knowledge in graphic design tools and principles, along with a flair for teaching and mentoring aspiring designers. You will be responsible for delivering theoretical and practical training to students, helping them develop industry-relevant skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver classroom and practical sessions in graphic design.
- Teach and guide students in using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and CorelDRAW.
- Create and maintain lesson plans, projects, and assessments aligned with the curriculum.
- Monitor and evaluate student progress and provide feedback.
- Participate in curriculum development and academic planning.
- Support student portfolio development and preparation for industry placements.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proficiency in:
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe Illustrator
- Adobe InDesign
- CorelDRAW
- A degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Prior teaching experience or industry experience in graphic design is preferred.
- Ability to inspire and mentor students creatively and professionally.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in curriculum development.
- Familiarity with additional tools like Adobe XD, Canva, or Figma is a plus.
- Passion for design education and student success.
