Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Global Payroll Analyst to join our Finance team in Bangalore. This role is critical to ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll across multiple global locations, including countries in Europe and Asia-Pacific Except India (APEI).
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of end-to-end payroll processes, excellent coordination skills to work with global payroll vendors and internal stakeholders, and the ability to navigate complex compliance and statutory requirements in different geographies.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing for employees across multiple countries in Europe and APEI, in partnership with third-party payroll providers.
- Collaborate closely with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, and Finance teams to ensure correct employee data flow into payroll systems.
- Validate inputs such as new hires, terminations, transfers, compensation changes, leaves, and benefits adjustments.
- Review payroll reports, perform reconciliations, and ensure compliance with local tax and statutory regulations.
- Address payroll-related queries from employees and resolve discrepancies in coordination with vendors.
- Monitor SLAs and performance of external payroll agencies, drive process improvements and standardization where possible.
- Support audits and provide necessary documentation for statutory, internal, or external audits.
- Stay updated on payroll-related legislation and compliance requirements in all operating regions.
- Contribute to global payroll process harmonization and participate in system/process enhancement initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Around 5 years of hands-on experience in global payroll operations, preferably across Europe and/or Asia-Pacific regions.
- Strong understanding of multi-country payroll processes, compliance, taxation, and statutory requirements.
- Experience working with international payroll vendors and systems (e.g., ADP, Safeguard, Ramco, or similar platforms).
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively across cultures and time zones.
- Proficiency in Excel and working knowledge of HRIS/ERP tools (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Workday).
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
