Job Summary:
We are urgently seeking an experienced and skilled Corrugation Machine Operator to join our production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining corrugation machinery to produce high-quality corrugated sheets efficiently and safely. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to quality and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate corrugation machinery according to production schedules and quality standards.
- Monitor machine performance, making necessary adjustments to ensure optimal output and product quality.
- Load raw materials (paper rolls) onto the machine and ensure proper feeding.
- Conduct routine checks and preventive maintenance on the corrugation machine to ensure smooth operation and minimize downtime.
- Identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues, performing minor repairs as needed.
- Ensure the production of corrugated sheets meets specified dimensions, strength, and other quality parameters.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Record production data, including output, waste, and downtime.
- Collaborate with the production team to achieve daily targets and improve operational efficiency.
- Report any major machine malfunctions or safety concerns to the supervisor immediately.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience (minimum 2-3 years) as a Corrugation Machine Operator in a manufacturing environment.
- Solid understanding of corrugation processes, machinery, and materials.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and production specifications.
- Commitment to safety procedures and quality control.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle physical demands of the job (lifting, standing for long periods).
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training in machinery operation is a plus.
