Key Purpose of Role:
Working as a key member of the Fund Operations team based out of New Delhi, India. This is a hands-on role and requires understanding, background and genuine desire to drive best in class performance. The person should have a strong background of finance and accounts and should possess a relevant qualification. The person will work on all funds administration activities including but not limited to handling of investments, exits, drawdowns, distributions, carry workings, LC’s and Guarantees etc.
Key Responsibilities (this list is not exhaustive):
Responsible for handling investments and exits and ensuring cash management, Bridge availability.
Responsible for preparation of timely and accurate Drawdown workings and Distribution analysis to be presented to the key stakeholders.
Prepare drawdown distribution notices based on approved workings
Obtain an understanding of the Partnership Agreement, prepare management fee and carry workings
Support closure of quarterly reporting and year end audit process
Prepare data for dissolution of non-active fund/ entities
Help on setting up of new funds
Understand LP side letters and help in preparation of data for reporting
Responsible for replying to Limited Partner queries.
Responsible for catering to LP transfer requests
Work closely with the valuations team and provide the Fund Level details for preparing summaries
Responsible for liaising with the AP/AR team for settlement of Fund expenses
Responsible for compliance certificate to banks
Preparation of track records
Preparation of Quarterly Movement of exits
Preparation of data for review meetings
Preparation of AIM/SAU decks
Working on ad hoc tasks and projects as assigned
Knowledge:
Associate level knowledge gained within a private equity firm, investment bank, or worked with a Big 4 Chartered Accountancy Firm in the Statutory Audit Domain working on financial services clients
A good understanding of how private equity works its philosophy, disciplines, and value orientation
MBA from a business school / Qualified Chartered Accountant, or degrees equivalent
Exceptional team player with the ability to collaborate effectively

Pay: ₹2,200,000.00 - ₹2,700,000.00 per year
