About the Role:
We are looking for an energetic and motivated Freight Broker to join our team in Mohali. As a key link between shippers and carriers, you will be responsible for negotiating rates, booking loads, and ensuring timely transportation of goods across the U.S. market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source carriers and negotiate competitive freight rates
- Build and maintain relationships with carriers and clients
- Manage full freight cycle from pickup to delivery
- Track and update load status, resolve issues in real-time
- Maintain proper documentation and update TMS systems
- Ensure on-time deliveries and high customer satisfaction
Requirements:
- Prior experience in U.S. freight brokerage (1+ years preferred)
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work night shift (U.S. time zone)
- Familiarity with load boards (DAT, Truckstop, etc.) and TMS software
- Self-motivated, organized, and result-oriented
