We’re hiring: Freelance Fiction Promo Writers (South Indian Languages)
Remote | Project-Based | Drama. Suspense. Emotion. All in 30 seconds.
The Words Edge — a creative powerhouse behind compelling brand stories and digital content — is looking for fiction promo writers who can breathe life into characters, plot twists, and cliffhangers... in just a few lines.
What You’ll Do:
- Script high-impact fiction TV/web promos that hook viewers instantly
- Build emotional tension, curiosity, and drama — all while staying true to the story
- Work with our internal team to convert briefs into binge-worthy promos
- Maintain consistency in tone, characters, and storytelling style
- Occasionally edit or adapt content for promos
We’re Looking For:
- Experience in fiction scriptwriting (TV or OTT)
- Language proficiency in Telugu / Tamil / Malayalam / Kannada
- A natural sense of timing, suspense & narrative arcs
- Great command over English for briefs & collaboration
- Fast, reliable, and deadline-ready
Bonus Points If:
- You’ve written regional TV/Web promos before
- You understand nuances in South Indian storytelling
- You're familiar with TV script formats & pacing
Note: This is NOT a role for ad copywriters or non-fiction writers.
