Duties
- Oversee daily operations of the food pantry, including food inventory management and distribution processes.
- Coordinate volunteer activities, including training and scheduling to ensure adequate staffing during pantry hours.
- Develop and implement menu planning strategies that cater to diverse dietary needs while maximizing available resources.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations, maintaining a clean and safe environment for food preparation and storage.
- Collaborate with local organizations and community partners to enhance food sourcing and outreach efforts.
- Assist in meal preparation and cooking as needed, utilizing strong culinary skills to create nutritious options for clients.
- Maintain accurate records of food inventory, client services, and volunteer hours for reporting purposes.
