Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and review of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
- Monitor cash flow, expenditure, and financial performance.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closings.
- Prepare reports for internal stakeholders and external auditors.
- Assist in developing and implementing financial strategies and risk management plans.
- Support cost control, revenue tracking, and profitability analysis.
- Maintain and improve internal controls, processes, and documentation.
- Liaise with banks, auditors, vendors, and regulatory authorities.
- Stay updated on financial regulations, tax laws, and best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or related field (Master’s or professional qualification like CFA, CPA, or ACCA is a plus).
- Proven work experience as a Finance Executive, Financial Analyst, or similar role (typically 2–5 years).
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, budgeting, and forecasting techniques.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, zohoBooks).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
