About the Traineeship Program
We are looking for an Fashion Product Ergonomist Trainees to explore how comfort, usability, and human-centered design impact fashion products.. This is an unpaid traineeship program (6-8 Weeks) where you will gain hands-on experience in fashion product design, product testing, and ergonomics to create items that are not only stylish but also functional and comfortable.
**Only students or recent graduates pursuing/completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Industrial Design/ Product Design/ Ergonomics Engg/ Human Factors. and or relevant fields may apply. Selection will be based on interview performance. Candidates must be available for full-time (Remote) traineeship. (Add Work Sample Link in Resume Related to Ergonomics/ Human Factors Study)
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in studying body movement, fit, and comfort in relation to apparel, footwear, and accessories.
- Support ergonomic testing and evaluation of prototypes and products.
- Conduct research on materials, structures, and forms to enhance usability.
- Collaborate with fashion designers, sustainability teams, and product developers.
- Document findings and provide feedback for design improvements.
Requirements
- Background or interest in fashion design, ergonomics, product design, or human factors.
- Curiosity for user-centered design and wearable innovation.
- Strong observation, analytical, and reporting skills.
