Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and creative Fashion Designer with 4–5 years of experience to join our dynamic team in Sitapura, Jaipur. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of current fashion trends, fabrics, and garment construction, along with a passion for innovative and market-driven design.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop original fashion designs based on seasonal themes, market trends, and customer preferences.
- Create mood boards, color palettes, fabric swatches, and technical sketches.
- Oversee sampling and prototyping, coordinating with pattern masters and tailors.
- Ensure timely completion of design processes from concept to final product.
- Collaborate with the merchandising, production, and marketing teams.
- Stay up-to-date with global fashion trends, textile innovations, and competitor products.
- Conduct fittings, make design modifications, and ensure quality standards are met.
- Manage and maintain design archives, spec sheets, and sample records.
Required Skills:
- Proven experience in women’s wear / ethnic/contemporary fashion (as applicable).
- Strong sketching ability – both by hand and using design software (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW, etc.).
- Excellent knowledge of fabrics, trims, garment construction, and embellishment techniques.
- Creativity, attention to detail, and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
Qualifications:
- Degree/Diploma in Fashion Design or related field from a recognized institute.
- 4–5 years of hands-on experience in the fashion design industry.
