Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement export sales strategies: This involves identifying new markets, researching customer needs and competitor activity, setting sales targets, and creating plans to achieve them.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities: This includes lead generation, prospecting for potential clients, and attending international trade shows and events to build the company's presence in target markets.
- Build and maintain relationships with international clients and partners: Developing and nurturing relationships with customers, distributors, and agents is crucial for achieving sales goals and building customer loyalty.
- Negotiate and close sales contracts: Export sales executives need strong negotiation skills to secure favorable terms and conditions with international clients, maximizing profitability for the company.
- Coordinate with logistics and supply chain teams: Collaboration with internal teams, like logistics and production, is necessary to ensure timely delivery of products and seamless order fulfillment.
- Prepare sales forecasts and reports: Providing regular updates on sales performance, market analysis, and forecasts helps inform management and guide strategic decision-making.
