What we expect
- Provide second-level support for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Troubleshoot escalated tickets from Level 1 support and ensure timely resolution.
- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems (Windows/Linux) and enterprise applications.
- Manage user accounts, access rights, and permissions through Active Directory or other identity platforms.
- Monitor network performance and assist in troubleshooting LAN/WAN issues.
- Perform regular system and security updates, backups, and patch management.
- Support IT asset management (hardware/software inventory).
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers for issue resolution and equipment procurement.
- Document support activities, technical procedures, and configuration changes.
- Assist in implementing IT policies and security protocols.
- Provide user training and guidance when needed.
Who we are looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in an IT support or system administration role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and/or Linux operating systems.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365, networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), and system troubleshooting.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) is a plus.
- Familiarity with ITIL framework and helpdesk ticketing systems (e.g ServiceNow, Jira).
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
