Key responsibilities:
As a Script Writer, he/she will be responsible for developing compelling, original scripts for a variety of media formats, including [films, web series, commercials, explainer videos, podcasts, or corporate content]. The person should have a deep understanding of storytelling, character development, tone, pacing, and dialogue.
Develop original concepts and write engaging scripts tailored to specific audiences and formats.
Collaborate with directors, producers, and creative teams to refine script ideas.
Conduct research to ensure authenticity and accuracy in script content.
Revise scripts based on feedback and creative direction.
Ensure all content aligns with brand voice, tone, and messaging.
Meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality writing standards.
Stay current on industry trends and best practices in screenwriting.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Creative Writing, Screenwriting, Journalism, Film, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience writing scripts for [film, television, digital media, or advertising].
Strong storytelling skills and understanding of narrative structure.
Excellent command of language, tone, and dialogue.
Ability to accept and implement feedback constructively.
Familiarity with scriptwriting software such as Final Draft, Celtx, or WriterDuet.
Strong research skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
Portfolio of produced work or scripts.
Experience in writing across multiple genres (e.g., comedy, drama, corporate, animation).
Knowledge of SEO and writing for digital platforms (if applicable).
Experience collaborating in a writers’ room or creative team.
