Job Description:
Oracle EBS Apps DBA – EBS Upgrade experience
Seeking a skilled and highly experienced Oracle Application DBA to support Upgrade or E-business Suite initiative. The role involves managing all technical aspects of upgrade including, cloning, patching, performance tunig, and ADOP.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute Oracle EBS R12.1.x to R12.2.X upgrade
- Pre-upgrade analysis, cloning, patching, cutover execution
- Perform installation, configuration and maintain or EBS Tech stack components
- Monitor and Manage application environments (Dev, Test, UAT, Pre-Prod, Production)
- Execute Patches, DB Upgrades and online patching
- Conduct impact analysis and work with development team for retrofitting and testing.
- Follow oracle recommended the best practices and compliances.
- Support cut-over planning and execution Provide post-upgrade support including troubleshooting, and patch management.
Skills:
- Overall 10-12 years of experience as Oracle Apps DBA
- Minimum two full-cycle upgrade from R12.1.x to R12.2.x
- Strong knowledge of AD/TXK Patching, Edition based Redefinition
- Proficient in Oracle Database, SQL Tuning and Concurrent manager configurations
- Experience in WebLogic Server and troubleshooting in R12.2 Hands on Experience with cloning, backup, Recovery, and environment refreshes
