Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Designer / ELV Engineer with at least 2 years of experience in commercial projects. The candidate should be proficient in designing electrical and ELV systems for high-rise buildings, office spaces, and other commercial establishments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electrical layouts including lighting, power, earthing, and ELV systems (CCTV, Access Control, Fire Alarm, Public Address, BMS, etc.).
- Prepare load calculations, cable sizing, and single-line diagrams.
- Ensure compliance with local electrical codes, safety standards, and project specifications.
- Coordinate with architects, HVAC, plumbing, and civil teams to integrate electrical/ELV designs.
- Prepare and review BOQs, technical submittals, and shop drawings.
- Attend site meetings, resolve site issues, and provide technical support during installation.
- Use AutoCAD, Revit (preferred), and other design tools for documentation.
- Support procurement team by reviewing vendor technical offers for ELV systems.
