Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement robust DevOps architectures for scalable applications.
- Lead and mentor DevOps teams to drive infrastructure automation and efficient delivery processes.
- Define CI/CD strategies and manage implementation using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, etc.
- Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
- Manage and optimize containerization using Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes (AKS, EKS, GKE).
- Ensure cloud infrastructure security, scalability, and high availability (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams for continuous improvement and delivery.
- Evaluate new tools and technologies to improve efficiency and reliability.
- Troubleshoot complex issues across development, QA, and production environments.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of IT experience with at least 4–5 years in a DevOps leadership or architect role.
- Strong expertise in cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Deep understanding of DevOps principles, SDLC, and agile methodologies.
- Experience in containerization, microservices, and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Hands-on with automation/configuration tools: Ansible, Chef, Puppet, etc.
- Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, PowerShell).
- Proven experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Certifications in AWS, Azure, Kubernetes (CKA/CKAD), or DevOps tools is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with hybrid cloud or on-premises-to-cloud migration.
- Knowledge of security best practices for DevOps and cloud environments.
- Previous experience in leading cross-functional DevOps teams.
