Position Summary:
We're looking for a draftsman to join our office. The detailer will work on complex projects across the country. The ideal candidate should be proficient in CAD and have experience working on statutory and non-statutory urban planning projects. The role requires close collaboration with urban planners and the planning team to create accurate technical drawings.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare base maps using revenue records, total station surveys, and satellite image interpretation.
- Prepare thematic and statutory drawings using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and ArcGIS software.
- Prepare relevant drawings for Development Plans and Town Planning Schemes.
- Handle a variety of tasks related to detailing drawings through various project stages.
- Ensure neatness, accuracy, and adherence to timelines for assigned work.
Education:
- ITI/Diploma in Civil Draughtsman or Certification in AutoCAD
Experience:
- Years: 0 to 5 years
- Industry: Urban Planning
Skills (Mandatory):
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of ArcGIS.
- Deep understanding of urban planning specifications.
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment.
- Time and priority management.
- Ability to detail drawings with precision and clarity.
Skills (Preferred):
- Ability to work with software such as Civil 3D.
- Problem-solving skills.
