Pass Code Hospitality is Hiring for a passionate and skilled Demi Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will assist the Chef de Partie in preparing and cooking dishes to the highest standards, ensuring quality, consistency, and presentation in line with our restaurant/hotel’s standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of food items.
- Support the Chef de Partie in daily kitchen operations.
- Ensure all dishes are prepared according to recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages to the Chef de Partie.
- Comply with food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Assist in training junior kitchen staff when required.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Commis Chef or Demi Chef in a similar environment.
- Culinary school diploma or equivalent is an advantage.
- Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, and equipment.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
