your Role
In this Role you play key role in:
Generating the spare parts demand forecast based on the past trends, vehicle sales and type of spare parts- Discussing the forecast with sales and service and collect any market inputs
- Calculating the net spare parts ordering requirement based on forecast, inventory, pending orders etc.
- Creation of PR/PO requisitions for approvals and release of Purchase orders to suppliers
- Identify the urgent air/courier shipment requirements based on the stock levels, customer requests, service level etc.
Your profile
- Coordinating with logistics and suppliers for timely delivery of goods to warehouse.
- Identify the critical items for spare parts based on the vehicle sales, type of spares etc.
- Define the spare parts inventory levels based on the norms and review of any mismatches across the nodes
- Review of inventory levels at warehouses, reporting of inventory and supply performance and making recommendations
- Understanding of servigistics or similar spare parts tools
- Working in US shifts and good communication skills
- Experience in working in automotive or industrial products spares parts distribution and planning
