The objective of the Role:
- Run
the production environment by monitoring availability and maintaining a
holistic view of system health.
- Gather and analyze metrics from both operating
systems and applications to assist in performance tuning and fault
finding.
- Partner with development teams to enhance
services through rigorous testing and release procedures.
- Participate in system design consulting,
manage platforms, and execute capacity planning.
- Create sustainable systems and services
through automation and strategic uplifts.
- Balance feature development speed and
reliability with well-defined service-level objectives.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Python/R, Hadoop, Spark, MySQL;
skilled in documentation for reproducibility.
- Experienced in anomaly detection, machine
learning, time-series data, NLP, and various ML tools.
- Hands-on experience with ETL and dashboarding
tools like Domo, Alteryx; knowledgeable in ITSM tools like BMC Remedy.
- Experienced in Linux data management,
JupyterHub, R applications, data science workbench, AI/ML platforms
including Kubernetes; CHEF knowledge is beneficial.
- Expertise in managing data on edge nodes.
- Knowledge of Airflow is highly valuable for
platform automation and process workflows.
