Dataspace Academy is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Data Science & Analytics Trainer to join our team in Kolkata. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in data science concepts, hands-on experience with relevant tools and languages, and a keen interest in teaching and mentoring students or professionals.
Working Days - 6 Days (including Sat-Sun)
Week Off- A day to be fixed between Mon to Fri
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality training sessions on Data Science, Machine Learning, and Data Analytics.
- Teach tools and languages such as Python, R (optional), SQL, Excel, and Power BI.
- Develop and update course materials, assignments, assessments, and project-based learning modules.
- Guide learners through hands-on projects, practical use cases, and real-time data applications.
- Provide mentorship, doubt-clearing sessions, and project feedback to learners.
- Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in the data science field.
- Collaborate with the curriculum team to enhance training content and structure.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in data science or analytics.
- Strong knowledge of Python, SQL, Excel, and Power BI.
- Experience with machine learning libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, pandas, NumPy, matplotlib).
- Excellent presentation, communication, and classroom management skills.
- Ability to break down complex topics into easy-to-understand lessons.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
Preferred:
- Prior experience in training, teaching, or academic instruction is a plus.
- Certifications in Data Science or Analytics tools are an added advantage.
