We are seeking a knowledgeable and passionate Cyber Security Tutor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in cyber security concepts, practices, and tools to students across different levels. This role includes curriculum development, hands-on training, mentoring, and preparing students for industry certifications.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE:
- Teach cyber security topics in live/recorded sessions.
- Develop and update course materials and labs.
- Train students in tools like Kali Linux, Wireshark, Metasploit, etc.
- Mentor students and assist with certification prep (e.g., CEH, Security+).
- Evaluate progress through assignments and exams.
- Provide individual feedback and support.
- Stay updated on industry trends and tools.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Technology, or a related field.
- CEH, CompTIA Security+, CISSP, OSCP, CISM, or equivalent certifications.
- 1+ years of teaching or industry experience in cyber security.
- Experience with network security, penetration testing, threat analysis, ethical hacking, and incident response.
- Proficiency in tools such as Nmap, Burp Suite, Nessus, Metasploit, and other cybersecurity frameworks.
- Familiarity with firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and endpoint protection.
- Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell) is a plus.
