About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Cyber Security Intern to join our team. This internship offers hands-on experience in protecting digital assets, identifying vulnerabilities, and implementing security measures. The intern will work closely with our IT and security teams to gain practical exposure to real-world cyber security challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in monitoring network traffic for suspicious activities.
- Support in identifying and mitigating potential security vulnerabilities.
- Conduct research on the latest cyber threats, attack vectors, and defense mechanisms.
- Assist in penetration testing and vulnerability assessments.
- Help implement and update security tools, firewalls, and anti-virus software.
- Document findings, prepare reports, and suggest improvements in security protocols.
- Support the team in incident response and recovery processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree/diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of networking, firewalls, and security concepts.
- Familiarity with tools like Wireshark, Nmap, Burp Suite, or similar is a plus.
- Understanding of common cyber threats such as malware, phishing, and SQL injection.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
