Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Care Executive – Insurance. The ideal candidate will handle customer queries, policy servicing requests, and claims-related assistance in a professional and timely manner, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction in accordance with the company's service standards and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and chats from customers regarding insurance policies, claims, and other related queries.
- Provide accurate information about insurance products, services, and processes.
- Assist policyholders with policy issuance, premium payment issues, policy modifications, and document requests.
- Log and track customer interactions using CRM systems and ensure resolution within defined timelines.
- Educate customers about policy benefits, terms & conditions, and procedures in a clear and simple manner.
- Register and escalate complaints as per internal processes and ensure proper closure.
- Maintain complete documentation of interactions for audit and compliance purposes.
- Meet or exceed daily/weekly KPIs (e.g., call handling time, customer satisfaction scores, resolution rate).
- Stay updated with product knowledge, regulatory changes, and customer service best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 1–3 years of experience in customer service, preferably in the insurance or financial services sector.
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written) in English and regional languages.
- Knowledge of general insurance or life insurance products and processes is a plus.
- Good interpersonal skills, patience, empathy, and a customer-centric attitude.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
- Ability to handle pressure and resolve conflicts effectively.
