Chef / Cook – Red Hill Nature Resort, Ooty
About the Role
We’re looking for a Chef/Cook who can take complete ownership of our kitchen and turn meals into experiences. Beyond cooking, this role involves shaping seasonal menus, introducing creative plating, and working closely with the owners to make Red Hill’s dining a highlight for every guest.

Responsibilities
- Design and prepare seasonal, diverse menus using local produce.
- Develop new recipes and plating ideas.
- Maintain hygiene, safety, and smooth daily kitchen operations.
- Manage inventory, stock, and costs effectively.
- Train, guide, and coordinate with kitchen staff.
- Interact with guests for feedback and continuous improvement.
- Represent Red Hill as a culinary destination in the Nilgiris.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven culinary skills with exposure to multiple cuisines.
- Minimum 1 year of professional kitchen/chef experience (preferred).
- Passion for hospitality and guest satisfaction.
- Strong teamwork, leadership, and communication skills.
- Willingness to commit for at least 2 years.
