About the Role:
Our research team plays a vital role in verifying and maintaining accurate data from thousands of sources daily. This position involves capturing information on corporate and economic events through internet research and updating our databases with verified information.
As a Research Analyst, you will be part of a team responsible for maintaining a comprehensive forward calendar of global corporate and economic events. This includes monitoring company and stock exchange websites, reviewing newswires and press releases, and ensuring accuracy through extensive checking and editing of existing data.
This role follows a 5-day rotational shift pattern.
Key responsibilities:
Researching and adding content to the Onclusive database
Ensure accuracy and consistency while adhering to predefined guidelines.
Contacting organisations via email to confirm the accuracy of our data
Service standards and improvement
You will ensure timely delivery against project deadlines, working closely with your Team Leader and communicating any issues that arise.
Communication
You will maintain effective and frequent communication with the team to ensure issues are addressed promptly.
Work with colleagues within your team to ensure consistency of analysis.
Required Skills & Qualifications
1-3 years of experience in the corporate/financial field
Good IT and typing skills, and an ability to use the Internet and social media as effective research tools
Ability to accurately interpret press releases
Good organisational skills and time management
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to prioritise large volumes of data effectively and work to strict daily and weekly deadlines
Flexibility and reliability
Team ethic
Desirable languages:
Mandatory: Fluent English and the ability to interpret written English
Knowledge of languages is a plus.
