Job Description: Roving Reporter
Role Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and
enthusiastic Roving Reporter to join our team. This role is ideal for a recent
mass media graduate with a passion for becoming a television presenter or
YouTube influencer, focusing on serious topics that have large impact on
people’s aspirations, careers and success. Our primary focus is the early-stage
startup space, and we aim to create diverse, engaging live content for live
streaming. This is part of our intent to build a strong brand for live content
for early stage venture space.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct highly engaging
on-site, online, and or in-studio interviews with startup founders.
- Capture informative and
interesting formats to engage young viewers – e.g. showcase of shop floor
footage to showcase how manufacturing, services and or technology and
software companies work
- Create interesting and
useful content from large entrepreneurship events including live
mini-interviews with founders and investors...
- Live stream content and
convert it into mini units for various uses, including adding to our
content library.
- Create and present
content tailored for a Gen Z audience with high engagement and
professionalism and with measurable impact.
Qualifications:
- Recent graduate in Mass
Media or related field.
- 1-2 years of experience
in content creation, presenting, and or live streaming.
- A sunny disposition with
a strong screen presence is a plus.
- Freshers with the right
aptitude and demonstrable skills will be considered.
- Strong ambition to
become a television presenter or YouTube influencer.
- Excellent communication
and presentation skills.
- Ability to work
independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with
early-stage startups and the startup ecosystem is a plus.
