We are looking for a passionate IT/IP Teacher who can guide students through the fundamentals and advanced concepts of Information Technology (IT) and Informatics Practices (IP), preparing them for the digital future.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Information Technology (IT) and Informatics Practices (IP) to senior and higher secondary classes as per the CBSE curriculum.
- Deliver lessons on programming concepts, database management, networking, and emerging technologies.
- Guide students in developing practical projects and hands-on assignments.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessments to evaluate student performance.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and incorporate them into teaching methodologies.
- Manage computer labs, software installations, and ensure proper functioning of IT infrastructure.
- Mentor students for board exams, competitive exams, and IT-related competitions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline.
- B.Ed. preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience teaching IT/IP subjects at school level, preferably CBSE-affiliated schools.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Programming Languages: Python, Java (as per CBSE norms)
- Database Management: MySQL, SQL
- Web Technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript (preferred)
- Networking & Emerging Technologies
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in preparing students for CBSE board exams.
- Ability to integrate practical IT tools into learning.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and mentoring capabilities.
- Familiarity with digital learning platforms and smart classrooms.
