Need a Company Secretary with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
You will ensure the company complies with legal and regulatory requirements, and manage its administration.
Some of the responsibilities of a company secretary include:
- Legal and regulatory compliance: Ensuring the company complies with all legal and statutory requirements, internal policies, and external regulations
- Corporate governance: Advising on corporate governance matters and ensuring the company's compliance with corporate governance requirements
- Company administration: Overseeing the day-to-day administration of the company, including maintaining statutory books and organizing meetings
- Communication: Facilitating communication between the board, committees, senior management, non-executive directors, and shareholders
- Reporting: Preparing yearly company reports, annual tax returns, and audit reports
- Liaison: Liaising with external regulators and advisers, such as lawyers and auditors
- Monitoring: Monitoring changes in relevant legislation and the regulatory environment.
- Insurance: Administering and organizing insurance
- Contracts: Negotiating contracts
- Risk management: Managing risk
- Property: Administering and organizing property
- Financial accounts: Interpreting financial accounts
