Job Description:
GMI Trading is looking for an experienced Commodity Trader (Sugar/Rice) to join our team in Kolkata. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in commodity trading, particularly in sugar and rice, and proven experience in the FMCG sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end trading operations for sugar and rice commodities.
- Analyze commodity market trends, pricing, and demand-supply dynamics.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, buyers, and other stakeholders.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and trading terms effectively.
- Ensure smooth execution of deals while adhering to company policies and compliance standards.
- Achieve sales and trading targets as per company goals.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in commodity trading, specifically sugar and rice.
- Prior experience in the FMCG sector is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of commodity markets, pricing strategies, and trading processes.
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Must be based in or willing to relocate to Kolkata.
