- evelop and optimize CNC programs using CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360, SolidCAM).
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
- Select appropriate tools, fixtures, and cutting parameters for each job.
- Set up and prove out CNC programs on the shop floor.
- Troubleshoot machining issues and recommend process improvements.
- Maintain and update a database of programs and setup sheets.
- Collaborate with machinists, engineers, and quality control to meet production goals.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and quality requirements.
- Support preventive maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives.
