The CTO will play a critical role in setting the company’s technical direction, overseeing engineering teams, managing client project execution, and ensuring our technology stack evolves with industry trends. You'll balance hands-on technical leadership with strategic planning and people management.
Key Responsibilities:Technical Leadership:
- Define the technology roadmap in alignment with business goals and client needs.
- Lead architecture, design, and development of web and mobile applications.
- Ensure the scalability, performance, and security of all client and internal projects.
- Stay current with emerging technologies, tools, and frameworks relevant to web and app development.
Project & Delivery Management:
- Oversee multiple concurrent client projects across various industries and tech stacks.
- Collaborate with project managers, designers, and clients to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
- Drive code quality, CI/CD practices, version control, and QA processes.
Team Building & Culture:
- Lead and mentor a team of developers, tech leads, and designers.
- Foster a collaborative, innovative, and results-driven engineering culture.
- Hire top tech talent and establish structured onboarding and growth plans.
Client & Business Collaboration:
- Work closely with sales, pre-sales, and business teams to evaluate technical feasibility and provide accurate estimations.
- Participate in client meetings to offer technical insights and build trust.
- Translate client needs into robust technical solutions.
Tech Stack Exposure (Preferred):
- Frontend: React, Angular, Vue.js
- Backend: Node.js, PHP (Laravel), Python (Django/Flask), .NET
- Mobile: Flutter, React Native, Kotlin, Swift
- DevOps & Tools: AWS, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, Git, Jenkins
- Databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Firebase
- Project Management Tools: JIRA, Trello, Asana
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a CTO, Tech Head, or Senior Engineering Manager in a service-based company.
- Strong understanding of full-stack development and software development life cycles (SDLC).
- Hands-on coding ability with deep knowledge in at least one backend and frontend framework.
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
Nice to Have:
- Prior experience building scalable SaaS products or internal tools.
- Exposure to UI/UX workflows and client communication.
- Experience with offshore/onshore team coordination.
