The Cath Lab Technician will be responsible for assisting in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures performed in the cardiac catheterization laboratory.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Assist cardiologists during procedures such as angioplasty, stenting, and other interventional cardiology procedures.
- Prepare patients for catheterization by explaining procedures, positioning them on the table, and ensuring their comfort throughout the procedure.
- Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy and related medical terminology
- Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting cardiac imaging and monitoring equipment
