Job Summary:
We provide services to innovative online platform connecting parents, students, and tutors in South East Asia/Asia. We are seeking a Call Centre Team to mediate between parents, students, and tutors, ensuring seamless communication and coordination. The ideal candidate will be fluent in English and Mandarin/Chinese have strong customer service skills, and be tech-savvy to manage the platform’s admin panel. This role requires leadership qualities, as the candidate will be expected to manage a team as the business grows.
Key Responsibilities:
Communication & Coordination:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for parents, students, and tutors.
- Manage tutor bookings, schedule classes, and address queries via phone, WhatsApp, and email.
- Ensure smooth and professional communication between all parties.
- Provide translation service from Chinese to English to other call centre members
Tutor & Student Management:
- Handle tutors from Level 1 to University level across various subjects.
- Communicate in Mandarin /Chinese to parents and also provide translation to counterparts.
- Guide tutors on platform usage and support them with administrative processes.
- Assist in tutor onboarding, verification, and scheduling.
Customer Support & Issue Resolution:
- Address inquiries, complaints, and concerns professionally and efficiently.
- Maintain a high standard of customer service by ensuring clear and empathetic communication.
- Mediate conflicts or misunderstandings between tutors and parents/students.
Administrative & Platform Management:
- Adapt to and use the admin panel of the tution platform for daily operations.
- Maintain accurate records of all communications and tutor-student interactions.
- Regularly update schedules and ensure data accuracy in the system.
Requirements:
- Fluent in Mandarin/Chinese & English (Strong verbal and written communication).
- Strong computer skills – ability to learn and operate an admin panel.
- Excellent phone, WhatsApp, and email etiquette.
- Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Multitasking & adaptability – willing to take on different responsibilities in a startup environment.
- Leadership qualities – ability to manage a team as the business scales.
- Must follow the Holiday calendar of the assigned country
- Previous experience in a call centre, customer service, or education-related role is a plus.
Work Environment:
- Office-based role in Madurai.
- 9.30am to 5.30pm
- Casual Leave entitlement
- Working days and holidays will be accorded as client requirements
