The devotion market is a $44B opportunity in India (growing at 10% CAGR), which is primarily offline and unorganized. Of the $44B, temples drive GMV of ~$27B in offerings, services, and commerce. There are 2M+ temples in India, about 10k of them have a strong historical and cultural significance. Tourism to these places is a $10B opportunity. Sri Mandir is growing 20–25% month-on-month.
Role Overview
As a User Research Intern for Sri Mandir, you will engage directly with our users through structured calls to understand their experiences, gather valuable insights, and help shape future product decisions. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the user’s voice is heard and integrated into our product and strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct structured calls with users to gather feedback and insights.
Document, organize, and analyze qualitative data from user conversations.
Identify recurring themes, needs, and pain points in user feedback.
Present key insights to product, marketing, and category teams to guide decisions.
Maintain accurate records of calls and feedback for future reference.
Requirements
Strong communication skills in Hindi and English.
High sense of ownership and accountability.
Basic proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
Empathetic listener with the ability to engage meaningfully with users.
Available to work from our Bangalore office, full-time for 6 months.
