Responsibilities:
- Create, modify, and update detailed technical drawings and plans using AutoCAD.
- Work from sketches, specifications, and verbal instructions provided by senior designers and engineers.
- Ensure all drawings adhere to company and industry standards and specifications.
- Collaborate with project teams to review and revise drawings as needed throughout the project lifecycle.
- Maintain an organized and accessible database of all project drawings and files.
- Assist in the creation of design presentations, material selections, and project documentation.
- Perform basic design calculations and assist in material quantity take-offs.
- Review and verify drawings for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to project requirements.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest AutoCAD software features and industry trends.
- May be required to visit project sites to take measurements and verify existing conditions.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or ITI is preferred.
- Proven experience as an AutoCAD Drafter or a similar role.
- High proficiency in AutoCAD software is a must. Knowledge of other design software (e.g., SolidWorks, Solid Edge ) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of drafting principles, conventions, and standards.
