Job Summary:
We are looking for a passionate and knowledgeable Life Science Faculty member to join our growing academic team at IFAS Edutech. You will be responsible for creating engaging, accurate, and exam-focused content across various topics in life sciences. Your expertise will guide students in understanding and mastering concepts essential for academic success and competitive exams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Creation & Development:
- Develop high-quality educational content, including lesson plans, MCQs, notes, quizzes, and video scripts focused on life sciences.
- Create interactive and visually engaging learning materials for topics such as cell biology, genetics, molecular biology, biotechnology, physiology, and ecology.
- Collaborate with design and media teams to turn your content into compelling video lectures and interactive modules.
- Teaching & Lecturing:
- Conduct live or recorded online sessions, especially for students preparing for exams such as CSIR NET, GATE, NEET, and other university-level courses.
- Explain life science concepts clearly, making them easy to understand and remember.
- Actively engage students through Q&A, polls, and discussions during sessions.
- Student Support & Mentoring:
- Provide doubt-solving sessions and personalized academic support when required.
- Participate in student communities, forums, and chat groups to assist with queries and guidance.
- Monitor student feedback and performance to continuously improve content and teaching style.
- Assessment & Evaluation:
- Design and review assessments, mock tests, and practice questions in alignment with exam standards.
- Analyze student performance and provide feedback to help them improve and build confidence.
- Curriculum Development:
- Keep the curriculum aligned with the latest exam patterns and academic developments.
- Ensure that the learning materials meet both depth and clarity required for competitive and academic success.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background:
- Master’s or Ph.D. in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Botany, Zoology, Microbiology, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Experience in teaching or mentoring students for life science-related exams like CSIR NET, GATE, or university-level courses.
- Previous experience in content creation or online teaching for EdTech platforms is a plus.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong subject knowledge across major life science disciplines.
- Comfortable with digital tools for content delivery and assessment (e.g., whiteboard tools, LMS platforms).
- Creative mindset to present complex ideas in simple and engaging ways.
- Collaborative attitude and ability to work in a remote team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- CSIR NET/GATE/ IIT JAM qualification in Life Sciences or a related subject.
- Experience in creating digital content such as YouTube lectures, mobile app content, or e-learning materials.
- Familiarity with current trends in online learning and educational technology.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
