Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician Assistant to support our maintenance team. The successful candidate will assist in the repair, maintenance, and upkeep of all plant machinery, equipment, and facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assistance with Repairs and Maintenance:
- Work directly under the guidance of a senior technician to perform routine preventive maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment.
- Assist with troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
- Help disassemble and reassemble equipment for repair or inspection.
- Follow detailed instructions to complete assigned tasks safely and efficiently.
- Equipment & Tools Management:
- Organize and maintain the workshop, ensuring all tools and parts are stored correctly.
- Clean and inspect tools and equipment after use.
- Assist in preparing the necessary tools and materials for a job.
- Documentation & Reporting:
- Log completed tasks, part replacements, and issues in the maintenance logbook or system.
- Report any identified potential problems, safety risks, or equipment failures to the senior technician or manager.
Qualifications:
- Technical diploma or ITI certification in Mechanical or Electrical
- Freshers with a strong desire to learn are welcome to apply.
- Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Familiarity with common hand and power tools.
